Sergej Milinkovic-Savic's agent has reportedly arrived in London to try and close a deal for his client to join Manchester United.

The Lazio midfielder is being tipped to replace Paul Pogba at Old Trafford, and it is believed the move will only happen if Pogba departs for Real Madrid.

But according to Gazzetta dello Sport, former Chelsea striker Mateja Kezman - who represents his fellow Serbian - has travelled to the UK to fine tune the details of a potential deal.

They claim both clubs have given the go-ahead with a fee of around £71m expected to secure his services if Pogba leaves.

The news comes amid reports from Il Tempo that Milinkovic-Savic has informed his Lazio team-mates he plans to leave the club this summer.

He is already believed to have said his goodbyes as he prepares to embark upon a new chapter in his career, either at United or elsewhere.

Lazio's president, Claudio Lotito, recently admitted he will let Milinkovic-Savid leave the club this summer after praising his attitude after they resisted interest last summer.

Lotito told Corriere dello Sport: ?"We have created a glass house and understand that people cannot be forced to play their role in an environment where they feel restricted.

"This is not the case with Sergej. He has showed great affection, responsibility and seriousness.

"It will depend on the events and not on the club.

"Last year I managed to reject the assaults, this year we could propose a matter of respect if the player were to propose a different solution."
