Celtic fans are not impressed with their former manager's move to the Premier League.

Brendan Rodgers moved to Leicester City in a 5m pounds a year three-year deal. The manager was in the stands as Leicester City beat Brighton and Hove Albion last night.

According to the fans' Twitter reactions, what angers them is not his move but the timing of it. Rodgers is said to have left Celtic Football Club at the time when he was on the brink of winning a treble.

The Northern Irish tactician has been successful in his two and a half season stay with the hoops. He enjoyed a trophy-laden stint in Scotland but just couldn't resist the lure of millions of pounds to return to the Premier League.

Rodgers left behind a comfort zone where his job was more than secure and a potential 'legendary' status if he had stayed and won the treble for the Scottish Premiership side.

He now takes charge of a Leicester city side struggling with mixed results this season.

The former Liverpool manager will try to forget what he left behind in Scotland but the Celtic faithful will nurse their broken hearts for a long time.
