Tusker FC fire Ugandan Sam Timbe due to poor results

Tusker FC head coach Sam Timbe

Tusker FC have reportedly fired the entire technical bench over the team's poor run of form.

The decision is reportedly to have been reached after their Saturday's 3-1 defeat to Zoo in Kericho at the Kericho Green Stadium.

Head coach Sam Timbe, assistant coach Francis Baraza, team manager George Opondo, goalkeeper trainer Haggai Azande, team doctor Wycliffe Makanga are among those who were sent packing.

Timbe, who joined Tusker FC in January after his predecessor Ugandan George 'Best' Nsimbe, has struggled to turn Tusker’s fortunes around.

Former AFC Leopards coach Robert Matano is reportedly one of the frontrunners to replace Sam Timbe.
