Former MCA, friend fined Sh550,000 in Sh30m land fraud case

Former Kapkures MCA Paul Kimutai and his friend Richard Kipngeno will each pay a Sh550,000 fine after they were found guilty of fraud in a Sh30 million Mbarut land case.

Senior Resident Magistrate Priscah Nyotah ruled that Kimutai and Kipngeno will each pay a Sh150,000 fine in each of the three forgery and fraud counts they were found guilty of.
