William Ruto sustains purge on Uhuru appointees awarded plum positions

President William Ruto has sustained his purge on his predecessor President Uhuru Kenyatta's appointees, firing a host of them as he announced changes in the boards of key parastatals and government institutions.

In a gazette notice published yesterday, Ruto, and his cabinet secretaries, revoked the appointment of more than 30 people appointed by Uhuru, many of whom were appointed in the former president's sunset days in office.
