The long arm of the law will catch up with anyone who enters US illegally

The foundation of the US-Kenya partnership is the strong relationship between our people, including thousands of students, tourists, and business travellers who move legally between the United States and Kenya every year. However, not every traveller follows the law, and those who violate US immigration law harm both the US and legitimate travellers.

To make America safe, strong, and prosperous, President Donald Trump is ensuring adherence to US immigration laws. To put it plainly, if you try to enter the US illegally, lie to get a visa, work without legal permission, or stay in the US after your visa or visa waiver period expires, you will face serious penalties: These include jail time, deportation, and a permanent ban on obtaining a US visa in the future.
