American YouTube sensation IShowSpeed is set to make a stop in Kenya as part of an ambitious Africawide tour that is already captivating online audiences.

The Cincinnatiborn creator, real name Darren Jason Watkins Jr, announced this week that he will embark on "Speed Does Africa", a 28day livestreamed journey across roughly 20 African countries from late December 2025 into January 2026.

The multicountry circuit, kicks off on 29 December 2025 and will be broadcast live on his YouTube and Twitch channels.

Among the destinations listed on the itinerary is Kenya, where Watkins is expected to touch down for a series of events and local experiences.

According to the trailer posted on his Instagram page, he is expected to make stops in other countries such as Algeria, Angola, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ivory Coast, as well as Morocco amongst other.

The tour itself represents one of the creator economy's most ambitious forays into longform live content, following Speed's previous IRL tours in the United States and Southeast Asia.

With an estimated global fan base numbering in the tens of millions, his travels are already generating viral moments on social media and sparking buzz among his local fans awaiting his arrival.

While the full daily itinerary has not been formally published, early information suggests that Speed's Kenyan segment will form part of a wider East African subcircuit, combining fan meetups, live reactions and culturallyinfused content in a format that promises unpredictability and spectacle.

IShowSpeed has become a global sensation thanks to his high-energy, unpredictable, and often chaotic content.

At the heart of his popularity is livestreaming, where he dominates YouTube and Twitch with his IRL (In-Real-Life) adventures.

He frequently travels to different countries, engaging spontaneously with fans and creating content that feels both immediate and immersive.

In 2024, he made headlines by setting a record of over one million concurrent viewers during a live stream from Indonesia.

He is also a notable gaming personality, he first gained attention playing popular titles like NBA 2K, Fortnite, and Talking Ben.
