Chinese man arrested in possession of 4 firearms, 201 bullets

Police in Kilimani, Nairobi have arrested a Chinese national found in possession of four firearms and 201 bullets.

Dang Pengfei was first apprehended while in possession of a pistol at Kanyonyo area on the Mwingi-Garissa Road on Friday, June 11.

On Tuesday, police went to his residential place at Kaputei Gardens in Kileleshwa, Nairobi, where they recovered three more firearms.

The firearms obtained from the suspect are: M4 assault rifle, CZ 75 pistol, Taurus revolver and Taurus pistol.

Two hundred and one (201) rounds of ammunition were also found in the suspect’s house.

The weapons were retrieved from his bed drawers and wardrobe.

It remains unclear whether the suspect is a licensed firearms holder, or not.
