Police probe assault of minors in Nairobi

Police in BuruBuru are investigating the attack of two children by a house help at their home in Nairobi.

One of the minors is still admitted to hospital where he was scheduled to undergo specialised treatment following the brutal attack on Thursday.

A video recording of the incident in which a neighbour appealed for police to arrest a house help who is alleged to have attacked the children has since gone viral.

The video clip shows the minors in some blood-stained clothes and one of them with a white bandage on the head.

The neighbour asked the police to help in tracing the worker accused of assault.

It appears that the video was shot in a health facility where the children were receiving treatment.

The Standard visited the family at their Greenfield Estate house in Nairobi.

The family was still in shock and declined to speak about the incident but promised to speak about the incident at a later date.

The attack was reported to Savannah police post. DCI officers from the BuruBuru have since taken over the investigations.

The house help is said to have been working for this family for the last two years.
