A wide smile and tears of joy streamed down the face of nominated MCA Nereah Amondi Oketch when she was crowned ‘Ms President’— a vote of confidence that her ideas to change the country resonated with the audience.
Nereah (pictured), a member of the Homa Bay County Assembly was announced the winner of KTN Home’s Ms President Reality Show during the grand finale on Wednesday night at the Catholic University of East Africa.
Her challengers Umulkheir Mohammed representing Garissa County and Renee Irene Mayaka of Nyamira emerged second and third respectively.
Betty Adera from Nairobi County was fourth and Waruguru Kiai from Nyeri County rounded off the top five.
Nereah could not control her tears as the audience applauded her while she walked to the front of the dais to receive her trophy.

“My baby. Where is my baby?” she shouted as her little bundle of joy was rushed to her.
Nereah spoke excitedly about her achievement saying it signalled the beginning of good things to come. “We can be mothers and we can lead. It is a win for me and the women of Kenya,” she said.
