TikToker Kairetu Jenny in court, begs for leniency over online marketing gig

A city TikToker who created a video accusing a company that had contracted her to advertise their product of failing to compensate her, has been charged with cyberbullying and harassment.

Jennifer Wambui Karanja, popularly known as Kairetu Jenny, is accused of publishing the video on June 29, in which she said the firm declined to pay her. Makadara Senior Principal Magistrate Gerald Mutiso requested clarification, saying demanding payment is not considered an offence.
