Teenagers arrested for engaging in illicit sex

NEWS

Residents of Homa Bay were shocked over the arrest of four school going teenagers who had turned a rental house into a sex den. The learners had become a nuisance at Koduogo trading center in Central Kanyabal Sub-location, Kanyabala location.

Tenants have been complaining that the minors turned the house into a sex den when schools were recently closed for a one-week break. The house was rented by a boda boda rider who lives the house but leaves early in the morning at 5am and returns at 9pm. The rider's brother who is a Form Two student at a local secondary school took charge of the house in absence of his elder sibling.

Neighbours complained that the boy has been inviting girls into the house for sex. During that time, he also accommodates his fellow boys who are accompanied other girls. To hoodwink the neighbours of their clandestine activities, the minors play loud music to obscure their noises.

Tired of the incessant loud music and the sex orgies the neighbours called on Central Kanyabala Sub-location Assistant Chief Rose Abot to intervene. On Sunday evening, Abot raided the house and found two school boys and two school girls in the house. They included the Form Two boy, his girlfriend who is in Class Eight, a Class Seven boy and his Cass Eight girlfriend. They were arrested and taken to Homa Bay Police Station where they were detained. The owner of the rental house was also arrested for giving a deaf ear to tenants who complained about the minors' misbehaviour.
