Rihanna is making history as the first black woman on the cover of British Vogue's coveted September issue in its 102 year history.
Riri, evidently amused by the shoot as we are, took to her Twitter to share some shots from her magazine shoot. Some of her tweet:
September issue @britishvogue .I finally got to work with Nick Knight for the first time! Legend. @edward_enninful get yours on Aug. 3 pic.twitter.com/aW2dACru93

— Rihanna (@rihanna) July 31, 2018The Vogue magazine also tweeted:
.@rihanna covers the September issue of British Vogue, styled by @Edward_Enninful & shot by @SHOWstudio's Nick Knight: https://t.co/zsMMEDQ5Rb pic.twitter.com/BBPfgEm3sC
— British Vogue (@BritishVogue) July 31, 2018The cover shows the megastar with her eyebrows seemingly removed and ultra-fine, noticeable arcs drawn in their place. This trend was popular in the1920s and 30s, made famous by the likes of movie stars Clara Bow and Jean Harlow. The trend was later replaced by heavier fuller brows.
This shoots comes at a time when the full eyebrow is a trend hence leaves us wondering if Rihanna’s move will bring a shift in the eyebrow trend. Only time can tell.
