How to achieve the fresh face 'No makeup' look

The 'No makeup' or nude look as it is sometimes called is one of the best ways to accentuate your natural beauty. That and it works very well as an everyday look and transitions so easily from day to night with just a bit of effort. Here are a few tips to help you on your way to getting that fresh, flawless makeup that looks, well, like you're not wearing makeup.

1. Even out your complexion

One of the most important no-makeup beauty tips is to have a natural base. For this look to work, an even complexion is everything. For those who are blessed with issue-free skin, apply a tinted moisturizer to even out your skin tone. If you need more coverage, apply a light layer of liquid foundation.

2. Cover it up

If you have any blemishes or dark circles around the eyes, be sure to use a concealer to brighten up your under eye area. Be sure to use it sparingly so you don't end up looking cakey or too made up.

3. Powder

Lightly dust translucent powder all over your face after your foundation or tinted moisturizer. Keep in mind that you don't want to overdo the powder or you'll look made up. Natural skin has some shine to it, so don't go completely matt. Only Powder areas that get oily throughout the day.
