There’s a lot that comes with pregnancy and parenting. Once you take the test and are fully aware that you are a mother-to-be, you start making the necessary changes to accommodate your new lifestyle.

On the other hand, there are many cases where pregnancy symptoms have been mixed up with other conditions. The body can give certain indications that are similar to period symptoms or an illness. Under such conditions, you need to be very keen in order to note of the way your body feels so you can confirm that what you are actually experiencing is pregnancy symptoms.

Here are some of the very early signs of pregnancy that you could be experiencing you need to know about.

Nausea and vomiting

In movies, one of the very first symptoms they like to show as an indication of pregnancy is nausea and vomiting and in real sense, they’re accurate. Although these two symptoms go hand in hand, some women don’t necessarily throw up even after experiencing some nausea. This is known as morning sickness and can happen to anyone. As certain pregnancy hormones start to work, you are likely to experience these symptoms.

Food aversions or cravings

Another way to know that you are pregnant is when you start avoiding certain foods. If you notice that you now can’t stand the smell or taste of the same things your previously liked, it’s a very common indicator. Also, you might realize that you crave a particular meal which is something out of the ordinary for you. Pay attention to these cravings and aversions as an indicator.

Missed period

This is probably one of the most accurate and somewhat obvious early signs that you are pregnant. At times, certain factors can cause a shift in your cycle. Things like birth control pills, stress levels and hormonal changes can easily cause these shifts for a while. The difference is that your body adjusts over time and your period comes while on this other side, they don’t show up at all. When implantation starts, you period stops.

Sensitive breasts

Your breasts are also able to give you early pregnancy signs. Hormones cause changes like, increase in size, tenderness and hypersensitivity when touched and darkened areolas occur. If you experience these changes along with other unusual symptoms, it’s time to take a pregnancy test for confirmation.

Fatigue

We all get tired after a long day full of activities. However, there’s a difference when it comes to pregnancy symptoms. In this case, you notice that you are unable to handle everything on your to do list like you used to. You do a few activities and now you are exhausted. Pregnancy hormones usually have an effect on your energy levels so be on the lookout for this symptom.

Mood swings

Experiencing changes in mood isn’t something new. Our bodies are a little complicated so it can be hard to tell when something unusual is going especially when you’re not expecting something major like pregnancy. Pregnancy hormones, once again, can cause you to be more emotional than usual so things that didn’t make you sad before are all of a sudden causing you to burst into tears. This is a huge early indication that you could be pregnant.
