When this writer walked into the highly guarded Fairview hotel along Bishop Road, she did not anticipate that the mention of her interviewee's name would light up the faces of the guards. They informed us that she had not walked in but would be there soon, hopefully!She finally walked in slightly late and apologized profusely and played catch-up as if we met years ago. This was our first meeting.

Celebrated news anchor Catherine Kasavuli had called earlier that morning asking whether we could postpone the interview because her make-up artiste was out of the country. Knowing how long it had taken to set a date that did not clash with her other commitments; we did everything to convince her that she would still look good in the photos even if she did her own makeup.
