Rihanna is making a musical comeback since her last album came out almost six years ago.

Marvel Studios announced that a new song by Rihanna would be released on Friday 28, as part of the Black Panther Wakanda Forever soundtrack.

Marvel took to Twitter to release a teaser. The tweet simply included the looking eyes emoji and the video.

It began with the title of the film coming into view, with white letters outlined in metallic silver.

After a second, the first 'R' in the word 'FOREVER' took over the entire screen, and the date '10.28.22' appeared.

The video was captioned simply, reading, '[eyes emoji] #WakandaForever.'

While it's unclear exactly what the video was referencing, some fans are speculating that it is in fact the release date for Rihanna's confirmed song on the second movie's soundtrack.

Marvel Studios set forth with the goal to pay homage to black artists, and now Wakanda Forever aims to do the same.

While the 2018 movie is famous for many other reasons, it mostly made headlines for featuring hits from Khalid, Travis Scott, The Weekend and many other artists.

Rihanna hasn't released an album since 'Anti' came out in 2016. She last released a single in 2020 when she came out with Believe It with PartyNextDoor.

The social media clip was posted on the same day Rihanna teased her upcoming Savage X Fenty Show Vol. 4.

The 34-year-old singer tweeted about the upcoming show, sharing a video featuring a sneak peek at the show, as well as names of guests appearing in it.

Irina Shayk, Taraji P. Henson, Cara Delevingne, Joan Smalls, Bella Poarch and more were listed as guests appearing in the fourth annual fashion experience.
