Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) has announced that it will close its clinics on Tuesday 13th, during the inauguration of president-elect William Ruto.
The hospital announced the move in a short statement published on its Twitter account.
"KNH Clinics will be closed during the Presidential Inauguration Ceremony on (13th September 2022)" the statement reads in part.
The hospital has rerouted patients to other wards.
"However, patients requiring urgent medical attention will be attended to at Accident and Emergency, Paediatric Emergency Unit and Labour Ward." Read the statement.
Further details were not issued by the management.
