If you grew up watching wrestling then Dwayne Johnson is a familiar face. Popularly known as The Rock among wrestling fans, Johnson has since been a part of many entertainment projects from music to movies and even animations. Personally, he cemented his place as a multi-talented entertainer when playing Maui in Moana and I still sing his songs to date. Other movies he has been in include The Scorpion King, Fast Five and its sequels, G.I Joe: Retaliation, The Game Plan, Jumanji, among others.
The former wrestler was also a professional football player before becoming an actor, producer and businessman. He has also authored an autobiography entitled The Rock Says… which was number one on the New York Times best seller list.
He has taken part in many charities among them his own Dwayne Johnson Rock Foundation which works with at risk, terminally ill children.
He has been named in the Times 100 most influential people list twice, in 2016 and 2019.
