De Gea will not sign for Madrid unless Keylor Navas leaves

David De Gea has made it clear that he will only accept to move to Real Madrid if current goalkeeper and also Costa Rica number 1 Keylor Navas leaves the club.

Real Madrid are said to be on the verge of signing the Manchester United goalkeeper in a much anticipated move.

However reports indicate that Navas has been in top form, helping the Santiago Bernabeau outfit to their first La Liga trophy in many years thus it will be hard for Real Madrid to let him go.

Manchester United Manager Jose Mourinho has put his trust in De Gea, with the Spaniard starting a huge chuck of Premier League matches and featuring in some Europa League fixtures.

Reports suggest that De Gea wants the deal to be done once Madrid lifted the trophy in Cardiff, but is hesitating to move because of Navas’ imperious form in front of goal.

With the transfer window approaching its climax and clubs beginning their pre-season tours, you get the feeling that the Spanish giants will make another approach for the Man united keeper.

Atletico Madrid’s Jan Oblak, Bernd Leno of Bayer Leverkusen and the emerging talent who is AC Milan’s Gianluigi Donnarumma have all been linked to Manchester United in case the Spaniard who was signed by Sir Alex Ferguson leaves.
