RnB singer songwriter Omarion brought his swanky dance moves and mellow vibes to Nairobi for the Inaugural AfroPop Festival that took place on Saturday at the Ngong’ Racecourse.

The crowd went wild with his performance of the new hit single Distance and a few of his yet to be released songs off his new album.

The Distance singer showed his appreciation for African Music when in the middle of his set, he sang along to Darassa’s featuring Ben Pol hit song Muziki followed by Nigeria’s Davido If.

His performance lasted 45 minutes and he did not perform some of his most played songs in Kenya.

The former B2K lead vocalist also introduced a dance challenge dubbed #DistanceChallenge where dance enthusiasts and amateurs alike would compete for a spot of winners every week.

The Kenyan team that won last week upon his arrival in Kenya was The Unikk Dance Crew that also got a chance to see him live on stage.

Among the Kenyan acts that curtain raised for the artiste were Le Band who brought us the sensational RnB song Number One early this year.

Dela famed for her viral cover of Adelle’s Hello and her hit single Mafeelings and Fena shut down the show with her hit collaboration Sema Ng’we. She also brought to the stage her squad who are currently making waves in Nairobi with their hits Kama Kawaida and Party Nation.
