Social media has grown immensely over the years, so have the ‘social evils’ that range from bullying, to impersonations.
Willy Paul has been a victim of this, an act that has been tainting his image and brand all together all the way. Apparently the parody account parading as Willy Paul has been asking for money from fans and even going a step further asking for nudes from female fans.
Recently, the gospel hit maker took to social media to expose one guy who has been running parody accounts under his name.
“Finally, this is the guy that has been conning people using my name. What would you do to such a guy??Kindly advice…should we just pray for him or?” he posted
Upon discovering the culprit, Willy Paul asked his fans to suggest what should be done to such a person and many others out there.
Evidently, the era of social media poses unique challenges such impersonation and one can only hope well stipulated punishments shall be posed to such people going forward.
