A night with the stars lighting up the party was a no-no for eliminated Maisha Superstar contestant Myra who after her teary eviction declined an after-party treat opting to remain in her hotel room.

Myra from Tanzania who happened to be the second contestant to be eliminated from the ongoing Maisha Superstar TV music show last week, broke down into tears and could not contain her emotions after the bad news. She broke down as tens of fans bid her goodbye and for minutes, she remained buried in the arms of her mentor-singer Shaa.

“It is not good for me to leave behind my fellow Tanzanians on a day when one of us has been eliminated,” said singer AY as he offered Myra a chance to join him, Shaa and Chameleone to party in Westlands, an offer she declined opting to go to bed.

The rookie, one of the most admirable girls on the show who had been labelled ‘The Diva’, did not see it coming during that night of pain as she went down, falling only one mark behind the fourth placed contestant. The show ends next week.
