The Kenya revenue authority has demanded the payment of 428 million shillings in tax arrears and an additional 159million shillings in penalties and interest. KRA also seeks to recover outstanding dues from ministries for ministerial allowances including for assistant ministers. KRA Alos wants any objections to the taxation demand made in writing.
