The president of the United States has identified Kilome member of parliament John Harun Mwau and businesswoman Naima Mohamed Nyakiniywa as significant foreign narcotics traffickers. Barack Obama sanctioned the two Kenyans and five other people under the authority of the foreign narcotics kingpin designation act. Americans are now prohibited from doing any business with the two Kenyans and any assets they may have under U.S. Jurisdiction are frozen.
