There will be drought in some parts of the country before the next rainy season. That is the warning from the meteorological department even as heavy rain causes floods in the Rift valley. The weathermen have warned that the coming months of October to December will have depressed rainfall. though western and Nyanza and Rift valley will continue to receive normal rainfall, parts of north eastern province, parts of eastern and coast will experience dry weather patterns… the met department hoping that this early forecast will allow the country properly prepare for the weather conditions to avoid disastrous consequences.
