Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s recent decision to call on chief mediator Kofi Annan to help resolve the political impasse over the war against graft may have been to him, his only option, but for a great many of his political adversaries, as well as a number of Kenyans, this was just yet another example of the Kenya’s airing its dirty laundry for the world do see, and asking the world for detergent. Was it? Are diplomats accredited to Kenya mediators, or are they meddlers?
