You may even precook some items to last you a whole week. This way, when you want to prepare a meal, it takes a shorter time than starting from scratch.

Take advantage of online shopping

As a working mum, you won't have the luxury to be window shopping for items in actual stalls. You may even find yourself having a problem finding time to actually go to the market. As a result, you can shop items online and better yet, have them delivered to your doorstep. This saves you time which can be used doing other things.

Cooking takes time and this is a resource that you may not necessarily have full time. Set a day in your week where you cook in bulk. This will save you time which you can spend with your family. Create a menu so thar it helps you prepare food in time instead of having to decide what you want to eat every day which can be derailing.

Lay out everyone's clothes days before

Nothing is more frustrating than not finding a sock partner in the morning. With work and children going to school, you're better off setting our their clothes for the following day the night before. Better yet, you can arrange all the clothes for a week and inform the children where to find them and in what order. Ironing should be done in time too.

Create a duty roaster

House chores can be a pain for you if your organization skills are low. You can hire a house manager or get clear chore roles for your children. Let them get involved in the duties so as to assist to relieve of the pressure work duties bring.

Label items in the house

If you want to avoid confusing your spices or other things around the house, you should be able to use the simple hack of labeling. This way, you are less likely to have issues mistakenly swapping items.

Use your commute time wisely

The time you spend when commuting should be good to respond to emails and make calls that were pending. By this, you'll be able to handle a lot of backlog of work and spend more time with your family.
