Indeed money can’t buy you love! The ex-wife of a New Jersey lottery winner insists that even the Sh. 27 billion ($273 million) jackpot is not enough to convince her to take him back.

Eileen Murray, 53, says that she doesn’t regret ending their marriage of 15 years last October despite her ex-husband, Mike Weirsky, being confirmed the Mega Millions Jackpot winner. To her, not even his inflated bank account balance is enough to buy back her feelings.

Narrating their story, Murray says that Weirsky, 54, had been unemployed on-and-off for a couple of years towards the end of their union, leaving her as the breadwinner. She adds that she had to pay Weirsky a lot of money in the divorce and that she is still paying him spousal support income even now. However, she doesn’t reveal the specific reason for their sudden split.

Speaking to New York Post, she maintained that she doesn’t think her former husband would offer to pay her back, and even if he does, it won’t be enough to buy back her love.

“He’s not appealing to me all of a sudden because he has this money,' she said.

“I'm not going after anything. I have morals. I know what I've worked for and it's everything that I have.”
