4 Stylish ways to glam up your daughter’s room

Your Home

A little decoration never hurts and actually goes a long way to nurture creativity alongside comfort while your daughter is growing up. The bedroom, unlike the living room, often goes ignored when it comes to homely aesthetics, but it is in the bedroom where your child lets their imagination go wild. So why not give their imagination a boost while making their room inviting and cozy?

Bold Color Themes that reflect personality

From the walls to the bed sheets, come up with a colour that would best compliment your child’s personality. While adults prefer a space that’s calm and understated, teens appreciate vibrantly colored, high energy rooms. The wall is the biggest area you can work with in a bedroom.

DIY Décor

These can be fun to make and look beautiful when complete! Simple pencil cases, jewellery boxes and flower frames can be easily made from used cardboard. Your daughter will appreciate DIYs that reflect her personality and interests in her room. Imaginative and bold components can really add an exciting element to the room. Some ideas for DIYs include a Hammock and a Canopy abode the bed made out of string lights.

Table lamp and string lights

Illumination from good lights brings a little daylight into the room, and a flood of light looks amazing from the inside and out. A table lamp is convenient if your child is quite the reader, and ideally two of them placed in opposite sides of the room will do the trick. As for Christmas lights, they mirror the night sky while your child sleeps and looks beautiful from inside and outside. One meter length of Christmas lights taped across the wall should do the trick, and matching curtains (ideally red, green or blue) enhance the effect of these lights.

Creativity with the arrangement of Furniture

Don’t go for a conventional arrangement of furniture with a twin bed squeezed in some corner and a simple desk across from it. Why don’t you try placing a circular bed at the center of the room and have a semi circular headboard surround the head of bed to act as a desk as well? Rather than go for a conventional drawer, why not go for cabinet style drawers for your daughter’s clothes. They’ll be consistently well arranged this way and will be interesting to look at, too.
