Fredrick Kioko, Businessman: What I remember is this game we were playing during rainy seasons. We could go to step muddy places and slide and dirtying our shorts, at times tearing them. On several occasions we were beaten by our mum for dirtying our clothes.

Lillian Achieng, Finance Manager of Profit and Loss Consulting:  Playing ball games, like Katii, bladder, rounders and banos with my mum and siblings. I was the last born so mom was always my teammate. It makes this memorable because I lost both parents and as a family we rarely meet.

Ann Kiki, Sales lady: I remember anytime we made chapatis, I always convinced my sisters and brothers to play hide and seek game. I was the first one to count for them to hide. When I realize that they are all gone I would open my eyes eat their chapatis. No one among us knew what the other was planning, so they would do likewise. After sometime each one of us would confess what we were upto.

David Karega, Public Relations Consultant, Hill and Knowlton Strategies: Childhood games, like rounders, hide and seek and playing banos. What I remember most was when in class five, at Kimathi primary. We were in Swahili Club, won debating competition and were invited to KBC to debate against another school which we won. It was my best memory because we were on television. This made us so happy, our teacher took us to town and bought us chips and sausages which were the real thing those days.
