I’m an ordinary 31-year-old guy and I’m confused!
Back in January my very first love contacted me after 13 years. I was pretty shocked because I never imagined I’d hear from her again.
We got talking and she asked me if I was single.
She then went on to say that she wanted to show me that she had a heart and she was sorry about what had happened in the past.
We had a bit of a falling out after we broke up and she contacted me to say she had enough to worry about without me annoying her.
Recently, she called and suggested we take things slowly, learn to trust each other again, become friends and meet up and see what happens.
I thought, OK, it sounds good to me. Then she said: “What if you don’t fancy me?” I replied: “Why wouldn’t I? You were lovely when we were together.”
She said she’d be in touch, then hung up.
But since then she has deleted her Facebook account (she told me she did that sometimes when she was fed up) and she hasn’t called either.
Her friends have told me she will contact me but, truthfully, I’m not sure and I’m trying to work out why she’d get in touch with me and say all this stuff.
I feel like she’s built my hopes up for nothing and I’m confused. What do I do?
