Anerlisa reveals she is not in good terms with husband Ben Pol

Keroche Breweries Heiress Anerlisa Muigai has confirmed that she and her husband, popular Tanzanian singer Ben Pol are not in good terms. The Nero company Ltd founder opened up on their fall out in social media after a fan reached out to her to bring Ben Pol’s Instagram live session with an unidentified woman to her attention.

In response, the famous social media influencer admitted to trying to catch the live but was too late as he had already ended it. In addition Anerlisa stated they were not okay citing mutual respect as a cause factor.

“Somebody called asking if I was aware that “my husband” was live talking things she couldn’t understand, she even sent me screenshots. Unfortunately, I never got to watch but just to make it clear that we are not in good terms. I am a person who likes to protect my image and all I know is that I like being respected and any husband should do the same to their wife,” she said.

Netizens first started suspecting all was not well with the couple after Anerlisa unfollowed Ben Pol from social media, a move that surprised many.  Not long after, the singer announced that he would be taking a break from the music scene to embark on a self-discovery journey adding that he wanted to be left alone. 

“I think it’s time to take care of myself and put myself first! If you are trying to reach me at this time, I’m sorry, I will contact you. I needed some cleansing to do (prayers emoji and love heart). God bless,” posted Ben Pol.

Although Ben Pol did not unfollow his wife from social media as she did, the Moyo Mashine crooner went ahead to delete all their pictures together from his timeline.

Wedding

The couple tied the knot in a secret wedding sometime in June at an invites-only wedding ceremony. It is not clear where and when the low-key wedding ceremony took place with Anerlisa and Ben Pol remaining tight-lipped over the affair. Ben Pol first introduced the love of his life to his fans back in 2019 after keeping their relationship under wraps for months.

“I’d like to dedicate this day to my love and husband to be. My life has not been the same since I met you, you have brought so much love, happiness, honesty and calmness into my life. You have taught me so much that sometimes I wonder if I was really living the life I should have been living. Nobody ever came to my life and changed it like you have. God bless us and always protect us. Nakupenda sana mpenzi wangu,” he wrote.
