An intercessory prayer session at Neno Evangelism Centre, Nairobi in 2019 led by the church’s founder Pastor James Ng’ang’a for Tanzanian gospel music songbird Rose Muhando was not staged. This is according to the early 2000s' top-selling artist who on August 23, while speaking to Wasafi TV’s ‘Sunday Worship’, said the ‘exorcism’ was the culmination of a series of prophesied events.
Back in Tanzania after a protracted stay in Kenya, Muhando explained that a prophecy made years before she unceremoniously departed from her home country in fear of her life amidst ill-health and claims of mounting debt, outlined four stages of her ‘dark days in the wilderness’. The prophecy, said Muhando, came to pass.
