Nick Cannon sacked by MTV over anti-Semitic comments amid racism storm

Nick Cannon has been fired from one of his presenting jobs after he was accused of making antisemitic comments on his podcast. The 39-year-old TV presenter sparked an angry backlash after statements about Jewish people in an episode of his podcast, Cannon's Class, which have been widely condemned. ViacomCBS - which make his programme Nick Cannon Presents: Wild 'N Out - has now cut ties with the star.

The MTV series - which has aired since 2015 – will come to an end after the production company fired the star as he refused to apologise for his comments. A spokesperson for Viacom told TMZ: “ViacomCBS condemns bigotry of any kind and we categorically denounce all forms of anti-Semitism.
