Mount Kenya University will develop joint scientific and technological research projects with China University of Petroleum (East China). A memorandum of understanding signed yesterday between the two institutions will also expand scholarly ties, facilitate academic co-operation and promote mutual understanding.
"This MoU spells a bright future for our students and faculty,” said MKU Chairman Dr Simon Gicharu. “As you are aware, Kenya, and indeed Africa is replete with natural resources but lacks enough manpower to tap these resources.”
