Ugandans throng Prophet Elvis Mbonye  2025 Honour Day. 

Tens of thousands of people from around the world gathered on Monday, 1st September, to honour Prophet Elvis Mbonye during the 2025 Honour Day, marking one of Uganda’s most significant spiritual events. Delegations travelled from Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and beyond to celebrate the profound impact of the Lord Jesus’ ministry through Prophet Mbonye.

The event drew a spirited and diverse crowd, including believers, dignitaries, cultural leaders, media personalities, and business figures, symbolising the unity that defines the prophetic office. The ceremony saw high-level political participation, with Vice President Jessica Alupo attending as the chief guest. She delivered remarks emphasising the importance of embracing a prophet and the blessings such a gift brings to the nation. Other government officials and cabinet ministers present included Hon. Rose Lily Akello and Balaam Barugahara, alongside politicians such as Ken Lukyamuzi, leader of the Conservative Party, and Hon. Ronald Balimwezo of the National Unity Party, all acknowledging the profound impact of Prophet Mbonye.
