At 4:15pm on Sunday, the planets will have aligned in the athletics universe and the stars will be ready to collide in the most spectacular fashion imaginable.

And three athletes in two-time New York Marathon winner Geoffrey Kamworor, former Boston Marathon winner Lawrence Cherono and Barnabas Kiptum will shoulder the hopes of millions of Kenyan athletics fans as they line up in men’s marathon showdown at the 18th World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon, in USA.
