Kakamega school faces closure over dilapidated facilities

Over 700 pupils at Malava Primary School might be forced to stay at home if the Health Department effects its closure notice expected to lapse today.

Zakayo Wangai, the head teacher said the health ministry needs the school to repair roofs of all classes, paint walls and put up new classrooms and pit latrines.
