State targets TVETs in revamping textile sector

Kisumu National Polytechnic has received Sh1.2 billion from the Government to develop research that will rejuvenate the textile industry.

Speaking in Kisumu on Wednesday, Principal Secretary for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Kevit Desai said the research should focus on the whole textile value chain.
