A local footballer recently escaped kichapo cha umbwa after his future mother-in-law found him with her school-going daughter in her house.

The woman raised alarm, shouting ‘mwizi mwizi’ – noise that attracted neighbours during the 10 pm incident.

The player had to flee in style, jumping from one building to the next while carefully dodging the guard rails – just like he does on the playing field.

It is reported that the woman had earlier warned her daughter against the man whom she never liked because of his funny hairstyles.

“She woke up from her sleep only to realise that her daughter had brought in the unwanted man in her house. That’s when she started shouting for help,” a source told Offside.

The woman is reported to have chased the man downstairs, not knowing the player went up the building and jumped to the next James Bond style.
