Stop rumors about Mwai Kibaki and instead, pray for his quick recovery

Kenyans must learn to shun rumors and relearn a vehement prayer to our former President Mwai Kibaki. It hurts to hear people spreading unconfirmed report about him! The mare fact of him being flown to South Africa for specialized treatment on Sunday, August 22 does not necessarily mean that, he’s extremely off and dead! Those rumors are not ungodly and evil but also barbaric and must stop! We should shun rumors. It’s official that he’s alive and is in an upbeat mood so why kill him while alive? Stop it!

Woe unto you who spread rumors, curse be upon you! Interestingly, even The Bible and Quran detest rumors. Even in our Africa traditional religion, death has never been welcomed in any of our African culture! As a matter of fact, the mention of death in Africa is anathema! Worst still, to give unconfirmed death report of an African, is not only evil but satanic in nature! Recent rumors about our former President Mwai Kibaki that went viral in our social media platforms, is evil and unprofessional reporting! Whoever came up with those rumors and forwarded the same post must face the long arm of the law and to the maximum, face a life sentence! Even those who forwarded this unconfirmed report through WhatsApp, Facebook and twitter etc. must be apprehended too! We need to learn professional etiquette and confirm everything before a send!  How can one kill someone who’s fighting for his/her life in hospital!
