Three years ago, Terri Caldwell quit her job at a leading Internet company when the stress started to take a toll on her life.
“I had reached a point where the benefits were not enough for the high price of not being able to sleep at night,” said Caldwell. “You had to stay on the leading edge, which is great. But behind the scenes, that means the people are working longer and longer hours with no sense of accomplishment. I was always ‘connected’ to the job. I was thankful for the job, but I hated it.”
