Investigators say the 21-year old college student was assaulted

Indianapolis, US; A Kenyan died last week from injuries inflicted in a beating by assailants in a club in Indianapolis City, USA.

According to the TheIndyChannel.com, 21-year-old Felix Achoch was inside Club Vision, located in the 4100 block of Lafayette Road, when he got involved in a fight with others inside the club.

Investigators have ruled the July 30 death of Achoch, who was being considered for the Indy Eleven soccer team, as a homicide.

Now, they need help finding those who assaulted him.

Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said homicide detectives need the public’s help in identifying the suspects in the investigation.

Dies from injuries

The local police said just after 2am on July 22, the fight spilled into the parking lot, where Achoch was assaulted by several people.

Another person reportedly tried to stop the fight, but was also dragged into the scuffle and assaulted.

IMPD officers became aware of the fight and Achoch was taken to Methodist Hospital in critical condition. Eight days later, he died from the injuries, police said.

The Marion County Coroner’s Office ruled his death a homicide. Detectives are asking anyone who may have video or observed the incident to call the IMPD Homicide Unit.

Achoch was a student from Kenya who was attending classes at Ivy Tech Community College.
