A woman charged with spiking a client’s drink before stealing his Sh1.6 million at a club in Nyali, Mombasa, confessed that she used the cash to purchase land in Murang’a County.
Beatrice Mueni Mbiu, 24, from Kitui, was charged with drugging and stealing money from Richard Wanyonyi, a bank manager. According to court documents, Mbiu drugged Wanyonyi while they were hanging out at a club in Nyali on September 8, 2020 and stole Sh1.674, 212 from his NCBA bank account and his Huawei phone valued at Sh30,000.
