Molde fully expect Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to return to Norway in May.

Solskjaer has impressed since taking interim charge at Manchester United and led the Red Devils to five wins on the spin.

United's upturn in fortunes have led to calls for Solskjaer to take the job on a full-time basis.

Molde allowed their boss to miss the start of the season to replace Jose Mourinho when he was sacked in December.

But they have no agreement with United past that and don't see him staying on past the end of the Premier League season.

"The deal is until May 12. That is our Plan A and our Plan B," managing director Oystein Neerland said.

"We have no Plan C. We have only spoken with United about this period, January to May.

"Nothing else. I'm staying with this plan."

Molde will be back in pre-season next week but the Norwegian season gets underway in March.

Solskjaer is eyeing a sixth win from as many matches as United take on Tottenham, it what is undoubtedly his toughest test to date.
