As IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati read out the results of the October 26 repeat presidential election, Kenyans expected the President be there but State House was taking its time.

IEBC vice chair Connie Maina had announced that the results would be announced at 3.30 pm but that didn’t happen until 4.30pm.

All the same, the presidential escort was ready to leave big house on the hill for Bomas of Kenya.

Jubilee Party leaders and other dignitaries have thronged the National Tallying Centre at Bomas of Kenya.

The National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential candidate withdrew from the repeat poll on October 10.
