Fred Hollows Foundation: Hunger drive gets Sh0.8 million boost

The Fred Hollows Foundation has donated 10,000 Australian dollars (Sh814, 455) to the West Pokot, Turkana, and Baringo county governments to fight hunger.

The foundation is an Australia-based non-profit aid organisation. The foundation's country manager for Kenya, Jane Ohuma, said while the foundation’s goal is to eliminate avoidable blindness, this cannot be achieved in isolation.
