TALK OF THE DAY: Millions to get election jobs and the NASA 'Adapt a polling station' theartrics

The issue of finance is key here. But some supporters have "volunteered" to help. Good for their support.

But two issues raise curiosity; five members as agents of one political party and urging voters to hang around polling stations until the tallying is done to "guard" votes?

How does a voter "guard" his or her vote after casting it? What about law enforcement? The "rigging" blame may be directed to a certain political party, while the "accuser" will get away with it since "he" is projecting himself as innocent.- Solo Maish

I think Jubilee should not take things for granted, actually it is in the NASA strongholds where rigging would likely take place.- Sufkim Damathia

NASA is a coalition of five parties so each party will front an agent and the law allows that.- Fredrick Odhiambo

NASA, I advise you not to risk your money in hiring the agents, the reason being that you won't compete with the current Government.

Use an example of how they untied themselves from the Hague. You are just like a village boy competing with a tycoon. -Kiprono Ng'eno

This is in a way to say I was true about the strategy to win the election results, making Raila the top leading candidate, among others. - Raisi Wakitambi

The issue is the political party that is having numbers will definitely emerge the winner, it does not matter how many agents will be deployed in each polling station. Numbers and political voting patterns will determine who will carry the day.- Sammy Masinde

The National Police Service wrote to IEBC seeking a clarification over NASA's claims that it would assign five agents per polling station. Another JP rigging agent has come clear. For heavens sake, why would the police want to know how many NASA agents will be at the poling stations.

The police doesn't have any other role at the polling station other than maintaining peace, law and order.-Robert Oduori
