Two youths have been arrested for vandalising a house of a senior county executive.

They are among a mob that stormed the home of Lands and Physical Planning Executive Consolata Yambo at Lake Nyiero Village in Suba Constituency over allegations that she was involved in voter fraud.

The youths vandalised the house and destroyed household items and vehicles.

Yambo denied claims that she had marked nomination papers to influence results in the ODM primaries.

“I was in the house with my family when the youths stormed and destroyed my property,” she said. County Police Commander John Omusanga said two people had been arrested over the violence.

"They will be arraigned in court,” said Omusanga.
